Smash a wall with the hammer from The Palace Entrance to get here.
There are some interesting bits here:
In the west are some levers and 2 chests behind bars. Pull the lever to get 2 different fighters. Avoid putting the human skeletton together. It's certain death.
There is a fire chest here. You can't open it unless you destroy a fiery head that's hiding at the pavillion. To destroy it you're going to find Scorpions chained Spear first.
Normal Chests are numbered YELLOW, Soul Vaults are numbered GREEN
