RESEARCHER FIELD NOTE - 2000


Nero Intel #1 is part of the "Finding NERO" Story Line. It's starts inside the "Chasing Leon" Story Line (Out of Nowhere Mission) after finding the stash on the cemetery.
Follow the NERO helicopter you will see and evesdrop on the scientist to get the Intel.

Collectible Text:

RESEARCHER FIELD NOTE - 2064


Nero Intel #2 is part of the "I Remember" Story Line. You'll get it after evesdroping in the "It's On A Mission" Mission
Evesdrop on the scientist in the cave to get the Intel.

Collectible Text:
"Morphology of Stage Two of the virus shows that is spreads through the lymph system. Speculation that the virus is bioengineered."

FIELD RECORDING - 2011


Nero Intel #6 is a beacon inside a cave east of Wizard Island Camp.

"A NERO field unit complains about their schedule and work load. Log Note: This unit's workload was investigated by HR and found to be within established protocols."

FLIGHT DATA RECORDING - 1787


Nero Intel #7 is a crash site on the small island south east of Wizard Island. You can jump over with your bike.

Collectible Text:
"A NERO flight crew discuss making an unscheduled stop. Log Note: A crash-site investigation attributed the crash to pilot error for failure to accurately track and manage fuel consumption.

FLIGHT DATA RECORDING - 1377


Nero Intel #8 is a crash site on the other side of the river. Here, you have to jump onto a little island with the helicopter's tail. Then jump again on the other side and drive up to the rest of the wreck. The Intel is near a corpse.

Collectible Text:
"Several groups of Homo sapiens mutans turba are being tracked moving along Highway 97. Log Note: Destroying the bridges along the 97 has done little to slow the progress of infected masses."

FLIGHT DATA RECORDING - 2041


Nero Intel #9 is west of Hot Springs camp. To reach it, you need to jump over the gap with the bike. I did it with an Engine #3 and Nitro #2.

"A NERO flight crew discusses the incident at Rebel Rock Cave. Log Note: Ask command to declassify this incident and send a report to all Field Commanders. These guys can't shut up about it anyway, might as well let them know."

FLIGHT DATA RECORDING - 2097



Nero Intel #10 is south west of Copeland's Camp. To get here you have to speed up your bike and jump over. I did it with Engine #3 and Nitro #2.

Collectible Text:
"A NERO flight crew is diverted to Site 301, the Dead Coyote Lava Cave. Log Note: Lieutenant Addison filed a complaint that this diversion jeopardised several time-sensitive field experiments. Complaint noted and stored in File 13 by his commander."

RESEARCHER FIELD NOTE - 2102


Nero Intel #11 is picked up during Mission "You Twisted My Arm" of the "Surviving Isn't Living" Storyline. Evesdrop on the NERO scientist to get it.

Collectible Text:
"Evidence collected from scat samples suggests that infected subjects are omnivores. Log Note: This confirms several of Dr. Anderson's theories about infected populations."

NERO EVACUATION NOTICE


Nero Intel #12 is picked up near the Cascade cemetery. It's lying on the road near some cars and a suitcase.

NERO SITE ORDER - TS-03-900SQM


Nero Intel #14 jump over to the crash site near Redwood RV Park Ambush Camp with an upgraded bike. It's a piece of paper next to a corpse.

Nero Intel #14 is east of Iron Butte right at the tunnel.

MOBILE MEDICAL UNIT RECORDING - 0980


Nero Intel #15 is inside the container at Marion Forks Tunnel NERO Checkpoint.
To get inside:
- Cut 4 speakers. 2 On the main container, one each on the little huts.
- Find the fuse. It's in the silver trailer close to the tunnel entrance
- Find the fuel. It's at the back of the truck.
- Put the fuse into the fuse box on the wall of the main container
- Put the fuel into the generator and turn it on

Collectible Text:
"NERO personnel are forced to turn away civilians after the refugee camps are ordered closed. Log Note: Suicide rates took an alarming jump in the second quarter - HR is ordering immediate psych evaluations for all personnel."

FIELD RECORDING - 1260


Nero Intel #16 is inside the container at Horse Lake NERO Checkpoint. Find some fuels up at the train tracks where the Train Engine is. Push the car towards the container so you can climb up and into the locked up generator area. Fill the generator. Before you turn it on, destroy the 3 speakers. 2 on the NERO containers, 1 under the bridge.

"NERO personnel deal with an unscheduled freight train bringing casualties to NERO Depot Site 27. Log Note: As noted in the recording, train traffic is backed up from Chemult to Farewell - command is requesting additional Federal assistance."

MOBILE MEDICAL UNIT RECORDING - 1111


Nero Intel #17 is inside the MMU north east of the Cascade cemetery. You need to push away the car to get to the container. Cut off 2 speakers on the container and one at the entrance hut.

Collectible Text:
"Deschutes County Militia use explosives to close the Santiam Highway. Log Note: DCM troops are infesting the area. Their HQ appears to be somewhere inside Crater Lake. We are requesting more intel on their operations."

MOBILE MEDICAL UNIT RECORDING - 1231


Nero Intel #18 is at the MMU at the Santiam Tunnel NERO checkpoint to the south.
To get inside, fill the generator. Get the fuse inside the burnt nest. Put the fuse into the fuse box.
Then cut the 2 speakers on the container roof and turn on the generator.

Collectible Text:
"NERO personnel evacuate as bridges along the Santiam and 97 Highways are demolished. Log Note: This entire operation was FUBAR - why the hell weren't NERO personnel evacuated prior? Command has already filed a complaint with the head of Homeland Security."

MOBILE MEDICAL UNIT RECORDING - 1301



Nero Intel #19 is at the MMU at the High Desert Sawmill at Lost Lake.
To get inside, fill the generator. There's fuel in one of the tents.
Cut 2 speakers off each container (total 4). One speaker is at the entrance hut. Follow the cable outside from the entrance hut to the Floodlight. There is a speaker.
The last speaker is inside the camp at the center flootlight.
Turn on the generator. The collectible is in the container without the bed.

Collectible Text:
"NERO Depot High Desert Sawmill is shut down and personnel relocated to Iron Butte. Log Note: Using the wigwam burners for corpse disposal turned out to be a disaster - temperatures never reached levels necessary for cremation."

MOBILE MEDICAL UNIT RECORDING - 0805


Nero Intel #20 is at the MMU at Highway 97 near the Chemult Community College.

There are 3 containers with 2 speakers each to cut.
Also: check the floodlights carefully, there are some speakers there too.

Collectible Text:
"NERO personnel are ordered to evacuate the Refugee Camp at the CCC. Log Note: I've been ordered to delete this log as it records the decision to abandon over seven thousand refugees. I have refused this order. Let the record stand."

FIELD RECORDING - 1577


Nero Intel #21 north west of Hot Springs Camp. Next to the small lake at the map border is a cave. You'll see a stone tower in front of it that you can knock off. Go inside the cave. There is another NERO box and the recording.

Collectible Text:
"Redacted. Log Note: What's wrong with you people? These were our fellow soldiers and researchers. We served with them. Who keeps accessing this recording? It's morbid. Show a little respect."

MOBILE MEDICAL UNIT RECORDING - 1788


Nero Intel #22 is inside the NERO container with the bed. First clear out the hostiles. Then cut off the speakers. 2 on each containers (4 in total) and one on each entrance hut (3 in total). The southern one can't be accessed if you can't get to the south yet. A granade helps...
Fill the generator with petrol and fix it to get inside the container.

Collectible Text:
"NERO personnel discuss the influx of refugees heading south, notably members of the cult Rest In Peace. Log Note: R.I.P members are being tracked throughout the Iron Butte region. Command has ordered us to report any activity if they start interfering."
